• I get the same error message everytime I try to upload an image;

    Oh Snap! Imsanity was unable to resize this image for the following reason: ‘File is not an image.’ . If you continue to see this error message, you may need to either install missing server components or disable the Imsanity plugin. If you think you have discovered a bug, please report it on the Imsanity support forum.

    Could you please check and let me know if there is a known problem.

    Thanks

  • For what it’s worth, I’m using Imsanity successfully on 4.5.1. Giant photos are resized on upload to the dimensions set.

    Can you confirm it worked on your setup on WordPress 4.4.x and all you changed was your Core version?

    Error: (Insufficient memory (case 4)
    Using WordPress 4.5.1
    Imsanity Version 2.3.6

    Have not installed any other plugins or anything else I can think that would have stopped it working, only change is new WP version.

    I can not even upload new images without getting an error, I need to turn off Plugin upload images and then turn back on and try and re size. Both things give same error.

    Full Error like this:
    ERROR: /home/freshphase/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/IMG_3408.jpg (Insufficient memory (case 4) `/home/freshphase/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/IMG_3408.jpg’ @ error/jpeg.c/JPEGErrorHandler/316)
    RESIZE COMPLETE

    FWIW, if you’ve tried an uninstall and reinstall with the plugin, and file and directory permissions are not an issue, this sounds like a server issue (as in, your server may be overworked/underpowered).
