i cant change any setting, they will not be saved.
every time i press the “save changes” button an options.php file pops up, content:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN”>
    <html><head>
    <title>200 OK</title>
    </head><body>
    <h1>OK</h1>
<p>The server is temporarily unable to service your
request due to maintenance downtime or capacity
    problems. Please try again later.</p>
    </body></html>

    what does this mean?

This is not a Postie issue. I suspect you can’t save any settings for any plugin. You may need to contact your hosting company to resolve this issue.

Hy, thanks for youzr quick reply.

no sorry, ist only your plugin.
I have it installed on 2 websites, both hosted by Strato.de
    One worked , one not.

    So, i have it.
    but i don’t know why?

I read on another Forum, that it has to do with the SpamFilter on Strato.
So, i have turned off the SpamFilter (Strato→Security→Serversidesecurity)
and now i can save the settings of Postie.

I have made the changes – Postie works! Then I turned on the Spam Filter again. And now? – I can save the setting with SpamFilter on! ???

And all this is only on one Webspace, the other Webspace worked well from the beginning.

Strange! … but now it’s working nice.
