• Hello guys,

I’m using Brute Protect, which has been integrated in Jetpack a while back.

I noticed that brute protect created a TONS of lines in wp_options table… e.g. transient_brute_loginable

    – How can I get rid of these lines ?
    – Why isn’t there any mechanism to remove all of these ?

    Thanks,

    Cheers,

Hi there! Transients in WordPress allow plugins to temporarily store information in the database. These usually have an expiration time, and are removed automatically. However, sometimes they can build up over time. The good news is, you can safely remove them. I found this plugin in the Plugin Directory that might help:

Since you will be making changes to the database, I’d strongly encourage you to make a full backup of your site before doing so.

Let me know if that helps to clear things up!
