• i’m wanting to sell art and homemade products on my website
allowing customers to choose to donate a certain amount of dollar or more. just like bandcamp does with it’s music players which you can integrate into your site. it allows people to pay “$9 or more” and choose their price after you set the minimum amount. i would like to do this with visual art or products and i’m wondering what platform or plugin i could use. i know there is a simple paypal donate button, but i’m looking for something where you put it under each product and set the minimum price and then the customer chooses what they pay. does anyone know how to go about doing this or what e-commerce set up to use, etc.? any help would be greatly appreciated!!

There are many e-commerce plugins for WordPress. For example WooCommerce, Shopp, Cart 66 etc.

Before choosing one you need to make a list of your needs. For example allowing customers to choose their own price.

Then check out a few plugins and whether their list of features included the ones you need.

For example, looks like WooCommerce (which is free) has a paid-for extension for this purpose – https://www.woothemes.com/products/name-your-price/
