Request for post deletion made on a wordpress blog

    Dear Admins,

    I stumbled upon a post made on fakeletters.org by its owner. I’m led to believe this is a wordpress.org blog.The post itself is extremely damaging to my person and humbly request assistance from those who can to either see it amended or deleted completely. How do i go about this?

    @besmirched, WordPress.org software is entirely self-hosted. It’s the equivalent of downloading a copy of Microsoft Word; you wouldn’t contact Microsoft if someone created a damaging Word document. Can you contact the website’s service providers instead? https://who.is/

    Hi, Thanks for the rapid response… I have tried that and it appears to be protected. I just thought perhaps, coming to the source might help. So you reckon I contact the hosting provider?

    Yes the hosting provider has a lot of control and can shut the site down.
