I just signed up with Gravatar and linked my website (on self-hosted WordPress.org site) to my Gravatar profile. I guess that is why the Jetpack Primary User has been changed to this new user?

In any case, I wish to remove/disassociate my old WordPress.com profile from this self-hosted site and simply use my new Gravatar profile, i.e., new WordPress.com user profile.

If I wish to remove the old WordPress.com profile, do I simply click on the button that says “Disconnect Site from WordPress.com”? I don’t want to screw up all the settings and the website itself.

I hope someone can help me with this! Thanks!

Exactly. You can then reconnect Jetpack to your new WordPress.com account (the one you created for Gravatar) by clicking on the green connect button that will appear in the Jetpack menu once you’ve disconnected. You will regain all your Jetpack settings once you reconnect.
