  • If you network activate the plugin and enable plugin’s network mode, from Network Admin screen, you’ll be able to assign a View to each of your sites. From there it all depends on how you decide to organize sites’ tracking: using a single view, multiple accounts, multiple properties and/or multiple views.

Considering the large number of sites, if all tracking is done in a single Google account, you should enable network mode.

Please note that network mode is a plugin option, not to be confused with Network Activate.

    Thank you Alin!

I’ve network activated the plugin, but I’m having trouble finding the “network mode” setting within the plugin. Can you advise?

    Dave

See Google Analytics menu under the sidebar of your Network Admin screen (http://yourdomainname/wp-admin/network/). There’s an option that needs to be switched on, called use a single Google Analytics account for the entire network.

Alin, can I send you a screen shot with a question I have? Where can I privately send?

Again, thanks for the time- it’s a quick Q.

    Hope you are well,

Great thread as I am needed the same.

Hamilton33 I have a multi site too with over 100 sites. Be interested to discuss how you are making this work and other aspects. Do you have a global cart and do you use woo commerce?

Let me know and happy to share experiences. Rare I come across someone who has the same amount as me.

    Completely up to you.
