    Sites break (i have 4-5 sites) all running 4.5 in WordPress and latest Jetpack. Have to disable Jetpack to get sites back up and running.

    WordPress 4.5 and now this Jetpack issue have caused way too many issues for our liking.

    Hopefully you fix this ASAP!

    I’m really sorry about this! We’re indeed working on a fix. In the meantime, removing the Jetpack folder and reinstalling from scratch should help, as explained here:

    Same problem here.
    WordPress 4.5
    Jetpack previous version: 3.9.6
    Jetpack new version: 4.0

    I could deactivate the plugin and will be waiting for a new Jetpack-version. Please, let me know when there is a new version. I don’t know if deactivated plugins will get updated automatically.

    Thanks I followed your advice above.

    Just deleted Jetpack folder. Re-downloaded. Reactivated. Reconnected. And then got same blank/white screen upon loading front side of the web site.

    However, i did deactivate Publicise and now the site works. Looks like the publicise sub-plugin is the issue.

    Looking forward to the fix.

    Thought I’d let you know also… we use Genesis and Avada for our chosen themes.

    This issue with Jetpack and Publicise is only occurring on Genesis themed sites. All Avada based sites are not affected.

    Maybe this helps you diagnose the issue further?

    Same problem here.

    Went away when I disabled Publicize in Jetpack.
    Publicize was connected only to Google+.
    I disconnected then reconnected. Now JetPack works again even with Publicize enabled.

    I deactivated Publicize and the problem is solved.
    I’m using theme Montezuma.

    edit:
    Reactivating Publicize again, and the problem does not reoccur.
    There are no connections to social media. Other settings I made are still the same as before.
    I don’t remember connecting to Google+ or such in the past. Maybe Twitter, but I cannot remember.

    Same problem here. WP 4.5, Genesis Framework, Jetpack. All broken. We’ve tried deleting and reinstalling and have ended up having to roll back to Jetpack 3.9.6.

    WP 4.5 and Jetpack 4.0 have caused untold problems for us and our client sites. We are not able to update to Jetpack 4.0.x until this problem is solved. Only those sites where Publicize is not active have updated correctly.

    Same issue here. Finally figured out it was Jetpack causing havoc on my sites. Looking forward to the fix too.
