Can't login to admin – The parameter app_id is required

    I’m working on a site that has been hacked, I’ve been able to delete the infected files but when I try to login to the admin, I get an error saying “The parameter app_id is required”.

    When I view the site, I’m logged in as admin & it gives me the option to edit pages but when I try to, I get the error.

    Anybody seen this before or know a fix?

    Googling the error message comes up with Facebook references.

    I would try using ftp to rename the plugins directory to take them out of play. If your site works now, put the plugins back one-by-one and test.
