filebrowser does not work after switching to https

    I recently changed the webpage from http to https. Unfortunately the filebrowser does not work any more. It shows the folder icons but when opening them they seem to be empty.

    In Chrome’s console I can find following error:
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property createDocumentFragment’ of undefined jquery.js?ver=1.12.3:3

    I already deleted the plugin as well as related database tables and made a fresh installation but that didn’t help.

    Any hint how to solve this problem?

    Have you co-incidentally updated to WordPress 4.5?

    Yes, I did. And reading the prior articles it looks like this is most probably the reason and not switching to https.

    ME2 forgot first testing my test site:-( run now 4.5 version an Visual Composer / WP-Filebase dont work now:-(
