  • Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I’ll verify but I believe we are only implementing caching on the month view of the calendar since it can take a little bit of a beating if there are a lot of events to display.

When updating single-event.php are you updating the single-event.php template for the month view loops or are you modifying the full single-event.php template for the single view of the event?

    Thanks!

I’m modifying it for single views of the event. I also see the issue when overriding modules/meta/venue.php. It’s rather bizarre though – I couldn’t pin down an update interval, but it’s on the order of 1 minute (sometimes less, sometimes immediate) – it still makes me suspect my setup.

    Cheers!

    Welcome back,

We don’t have any caching features other than the month view, so I too suspect it may be something with your setup. Does the issue still occur when reverting back to the default theme and with only our plugins activated as recommended in our Testing for conflicts guide?

Thanks for the reply. I suspected as much, although it’s a bit odd since it’s pretty much an out-of-the-box install of WordPress (except that it’s running in Docker).

I haven’t made any changes to the default theme other than the minor override in single-event.php. I don’t have plugins activated other than Akismet.

I’ll keep looking for a solution.

    Thanks @wplid!
