scoll to ID changes from first to second click

    Hi,

    I am “almost there”, but struggle with the positioning of the scroll to ID. When setting Offset to say 100px, the position will be different when I navigate to the section ID from another page compared to within the same page. You can see the issue here:

    I have a sticky menu that I am quite sure causes the problems, but I cannot figure it out based on the other posts in here. I have tried several solutions.

    I have also tried to figure our how to include different offsets for different sections (always navigating from the menu bar to a section), but not sure this is possible?

    Hi,

    It seems that your theme (or another plugin) has a script that overwrites ‘Page scroll to id’ click event, preventing it from scrolling the page (when you click same-page links the page doesn’t scroll, it only jumps).

    In your case, the plugin works only when navigating from/to other pages but not with same-page links, that’s why there’s a difference in scrolling.

    I’m not sure if you can disable such functionality in your theme settings or check if another plugin does this(?)
