• Hi,

First when i use the flash uploader i get an “empty file” error and indicating something could be wrong with my php.ini. The file is not empty and the php.ini works fine and other uploads work fine as well.

If i upload by browser it all seems to upload just fine but then the upload window (once “done”) refreshes to the upload page and my file didn’t got uploaded at all (or just not saved)?

What i did in an attempt to fix this issue:

    – Check my php.ini and it’s fine
    – Re-uploaded the wordpress folders as described in the pinned topic regarding uploading issues
    – did everything in the pinned topic regarding uplaoding images
    – uploaded files with another script which worked just fine
    – checked my error logs and no errors where in for that subdomain or anything regarding uploads or wordpress

I Just found out that i have this issue because this is the first time i was going to make a blog post with an imagei n wordpress 2.8. 2.71 didn’t had this issue.

I hope i could get some help here.
I’m a php programmer so you can go into technical detail if you want ^_^

    edit ::
And i did search for this issue but could not find the exact same issue.

    Thanx,
    Mark.

Yes, i have checked that faq.
I have cleared my cache, tried another browser and some more things from that faq. Nothing seems to fix it so far.

    bump

    I still have this problem..
anyone that can help me with it?

I have exactly the same problem with a fresh WP 2.8 installation.

Images won’t upload, either by using the flash uploader or the browser uploader.

WP should create the /uploads/ directory, and children, such as /2009/07/, by itself, right? Well it doesn’t, and I’ve made sure to set the parent directory’s permissions to 777, too (and not).

    Suggestions much appreciated.

    Thx!
