Tried to changed URL

I was editing my friend’s website and wanted to change the URL from “Alwaysqands.com” to “alwaysqualityandservice.com”
I just went to the general settings and typed it in at the slots for both the user and the for the admin wordpress.
Once I did this, I basically ruined the whole site. I can’t log in any more just to change it back and fix it. I need some help here.

Yeah….. I read those exact things AFTER I made the mistake, but they don’t help. I can NO LONGER log into the site because it says the domain no longer exists.

even going to my website by example.com/wp-login just redirects it to a site that does not exist so I can no longer log in to make any edits to the site even to change it back (which I would do in a heartbeat if I could).

That’s because alwaysqands.com is NOT even registered.

You should read https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL (follow the instructions under heading “Edit functions.php”) carefully, you need to FTP to alwaysqands.com and make changes to wp-config.php

Would buying the domain allow me to log in to alwaysqualityandservice.com/wp-admin ?
If I could do that, then that would solve the problem and I could just change it back to alwaysqands.com like nothing happened, right?

Just buying it? No.

The information in the first link @rajesh Soni gave you solves your login problem. https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
Change the URL’s back to alwaysqands.com and log back in. Simple and done, the existing site is back up and running.

Purchasing the alwaysqualityandservice.com domain should be considered secondary to solving your current problem. If you do choose to purchase the domain and point it to the existing site, then you can use the information in the second link you were given https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress ..to make sure it functions properly on the new domain.
