I would need to get a bit more information on what pubmed links are. Can you give me an example of a pubmed link?
The PMID is somehow the registration number within pubmed. See for example http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26995692
The last number is the pubmed pmid. It is helpfull to get a reliable Reference within medical or scientific literature. You can compare it with the DOI System what is somehow a different system and will link to the article itsself. See http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.cjca.2016.01.024
to get to the same article at the papers site.
For me within http://www.strebix.de it would be great to have the possibility to add PMID and at best also DOI as this would give others the chance to go back to the source of the link…
for example a simple list: https://www.strebix.de/2016/04/besipiel-literaturlink/
I am unsure what is missing for Link Library to work with these links. These looks like standard URLs to me. Are you not able to enter these and create a library from these on your site?
