Snippet option not saving for "authors"

    Hello,
    I have an issue while trying to save the options of my snippets (eg. line numbers, language, etc): the options are saved only for administrators and users, but not for authors (when an author saves, the options always switch back to the previous ones…

    Dear ego_ad,

    thanks for your report! i can confirm this issue.

    WordPress doesn’t allow authors or contributors to post arbitrary html code. All HTML attributes got stripped by WordPress build-in filter functions, including the related enlighter attributes which stores all code settings.

    I will investigate if its possible to hook into WordPress ACL system and add a custom filter which allows users to post these special attributes.

    I’ve fixed the issue. it will be available in the upcoming v3.1 release.
