WP has it’s own mailing function. Now Newsletter uses it so you can install an smtp plugin without the needed to configure the smtp in Newsletter.

There must be something wrong with this setting.
I tried both and got no different behavior in sending although i am NOT using a third party smtp plugin.
    Please explain this ASAP.
I can’t install any new updates of your plugin on productive system as long as this is not clear to me.

The Newsletter Plugin lets to have a textual version of newsletters, but using WordPress to send email that textual part cannot be easily managed.

No matter how many time I read this sentence. I simply don’t understand this.
I can’t believe that you are not able to clearly point out what this setting has to do.

WordPress has its own mailing function. That function does not support html+text. Newsletter can send using this function or on its own, to manage the html+text format.

There are blog owners which prefer to have Newsletter sending with WP mailing function because they have other plugins which extend or transform that mailing function.

Yes, but as I said before: I don’t use a third party plugin to send mails on wordpress. And BOTH settings worked.

Of course both setting worked. Byt your newsletters, when sending with WP will miss the text part.

    I still don’t understand.
WHAT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD do I have to do/activate/install to send newsletter emails correct? And I mean HTML AND TEXT Part.

Let Newsletter to send emails on its own, activate the flag in the main settings.
