the category shortcode places the dropdown in the form, however, it fails to place the submission in the category selected.

    Am I missing something here?

The plugin correctly discovered and listed all parent categories, so I’m at a loss…. why choose a category if the submission is not going to be placed in that category?

    Hi nsfamilylawexposed,
    Thanks for feedback.
The situation is vaguely described, but the following questions may help point out the problem.

    – What post type is the form for?
    – Is the taxonomy, whose Term you are attempting to submit to, attached to post type selected? In other words, verify that you are not trying to submit a “Page”, to a Category or Tag for a “Post”.

If the above doesn’t help, please do provide more details if possible (e.g. Post Type/Taxonomy or URL to live form or any other errors).

I’m marking this as resolved, considering no further feedback has been given.
Feel free to repost this issue with further description if anyone is still experiencing this.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
At first, thanks very much for the quality of your plugin.
I’m not sure to fully understand the previous demand, but I’m in the same kind of trouble :
My form works like a charm when I’m connected as admin, but when I’m a simple visitor, the post is sent and published, but not the proposed category. I would like that visitors can publish and categorize their pots! Could you help me ? Perhaps i missed something in the conf ?
    Here is my config :

    Thanks a lot
