    Hi,

I have 2 questions regarding the Events Calendar.

    Question No 1
I have a modified list view by having an override located in (my-theme/tribe-events/list/single-event.php)

    URL: http://www.kidsoft.com.au/events

I have a 2 categories which are the “Webinars” and “Conference”

What I want to accomplish is to change the contents of the entries in the list based on category.

Let’s say in category “webinar”, I want to show the title, time, and a link for the webinar registration” (This is what I currently have)

And in category “conference” I want to show the title, time the permalink to the event single page.

I tried using <?php if (is_tax(‘tribe_events_cat’, ‘webinar’)) : ?> but i cant accomplish what we want.

    Question no. 2

How can I remove the word “category” in the url? What i have now is events/category/webinar and i just want events/webinar without the word “category” on it.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Take a gander at our Themer’s Guide – you should be able to create custom templates as described from there. I wish I was able to provide more information that that, but unfortunately am unable to do so.

It’s not recommended to alter the permalink structure and I don’t have any available snippets of how to do so, but I’m sure it’s possible.
