Why are uploaded images listed in reverse order?

    I have had this issue for at least two versions. When I upload a set of images, they are listed in the media browser in reverse order, every time. So instead of the list looking like
    1.jpg
    2.jpg
    3.jpg

    I see

    3.jpg
    2.jpg
    1.jpg

    This means that instead of inserting images en masse, I have to insert them one after the other.

    Is there something I’m missing?

    You can re-order the images in a gallery using the Order box (just to the left of the Show link).
