A few days ago my wordpress site stopped working

    It seems during an upgrade something got damaged.

    My site should have 4 wordpress subdirectories sites:

    http://empower.elmit.biz
    http://empower.elmit.biz/english
    …

    Firefox gives me:

    Unable to connect

    Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at empower.elmit.biz.

    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

    Where should I start to track down the problem?
    I use Ubuntu 14.04.1

    Sounds more like a hosting problem then a wordpress problem.

    A quick ping says no loss on the ip address, but there is no response at all from the server.
