Steve, Why are none of my other domains, same plugins, same theme, not causing the problem? Only this domain is having the issue with that bar. Does everyone who use this plugin with their wordpress site have to edit their site to make the bar go away?
You’re only seeing the bar because you’ve changed the settings in one of the Title Format fields. By default they look like this:
%post_title% | %blog_title%
But you’ve removed the %blog_title% from one of the fields which leaves this:
%post_title% |
Hence you see the post title followed by a bar.
The link you provided doesnt provide steps to take to end the bar. Please provide a step by step plan that removed the bar. Thanks
Go to All in One SEO, General Settings, Title Settings and check that the Title Format field for Post Title, Page Title, etc match what is shown in our documentation. If you see a bar with no %blog_title% after it then remove the bar.
This line shows a screen shot when I open up “All in One SEO Plugin” under settings. I haven’t touched any of these particular settings. I’m not seeing the bar problem in this screen shot as you presented in your comment above. Everything looks as it should. http://texastinyhomes.com/problem/
I checked that page http://texastinyhomes.com/latest-partners/ and I don’t see a bar so it looks like it’s gone now.
It only shows up when in the All In One SEO dashboard, as presented in the link above and when it is shared on Facebook..try pasteing that link in your FB page..it will show up then
Facebook is returning an error which is why this doesn’t show properly. You need to fix the error before Facebook can show your pages. Here is the error message:
Object at URL ‘http://texastinyhomes.com/latest-partners/’ of type ‘article’ is invalid because it specifies multiple ‘og:url’ values: http://texastinyhomes.com/latest-partners/, http://texastinyhomes.com/latest-partners/.
This is happening because you have two sets of Open Graph meta on your site, one from All in One SEO Pack and one from another source. You are only allowed one set of Open Graph meta so you must remove the other.
I just now deactivated another SEO plug-in that was installed called SEO Ultimate, but the spacer bar is still showing up at the end of the title, as reflected in image 2 in this link I posted earlier http://texastinyhomes.com/problem/
And when i try to post anything on our FB page, the bar is still present. Do I need to fully delete that plugin? I am also using a plugin called, SEO Internal Link Shortcode, which the input on it was necessary to achieve a Google “approval” in webmaster tools.
Both of these SEO plug-ins are now deactivated, but still installed, and bar issue is still present.

Steve, your plugin is causing the problem. I deactivated it and reactived SEO Ultimate and problem solved. I just made a test post on our FB page, which left no vertical bar in title. https://www.facebook.com/texastinyhomes/
I would like to continue using your plug-in if your team can resolve the glitch in the plugin and offer an update.
