    Hi Support,

I have a problem which has been bugging me for weeks already.

The problem is, I have already appropriate the Newsletter settings: created the page, saved the page in the Settings, added the [ALO-EASYMAIL-PAGE] to the page, enabled “Show subscription page” setting, etc.

When a user enters his email address and name on the newsletter form, and submits – he received the newsletter subscription confirmation email.
However – when he clicks on the subscription confirmation URL – it redirects him always to the home page. I can see that the the URL paremeters are there e.g. ?lang=en&emact=cm9iZWFydGguc29mdHdvcmtzKzAwMUBnbWFpbC5jb218YjUwNTFjZDVlZDEzNjhlMTE3NTEyZmI0fGVu
But it is not redirecting to the appropriate page being set. Please help. 🙁

    TIA!

Just would like to add that I have done deleted all other plugins (only the newsletter plugin left), deactivated the newsletter plugin, deleted, and installed and activated again, changed themes, but nothing worked. 🙁

Anybody? This is a critical (and a blocker) issue since there is currently no way for our customers to activate their subscription and receive newsletters.

    Please help. 🙁

Does the Newsletter page exist and is it accessible (not under password, draft or private)? Can you see when you are not logged? Double check if there are more pages with the same name (Newsletter) and it’s set the right page in plugin settings.

hi Eventualo – Yeah. All configurations are there.
The page is there and is published (no password or private).
    All page names are unique.
And the settings are updated to their appropriate page.

May I just ask which file in particular or code that is responsible for redirecting to the Newsletter page (when the confirmation link is clicked)?
I plan to ask a Developer to troubleshoot the issue. Would be great if he can start somewhere?

    Thanks!

    Anybody? Mr plugin developer? 🙁

The code of the file that contains the function is here: https://github.com/groucho75/alo-easymail/blob/master/functions/alo-easymail-router.php
That code looks for a GET var named emact and make the redirect to subscription page.
Did you ask to your provider if there is any particular configuration about redirects, querystring manipulation…?
