I write all my custom functions inside wp-includes/functions.php and I was wondering if there is a way of including a custom functions.php from another directory in the same way you add a javascript file in the header?

The idea is to have my custom functions separated from the predefined WP functions.

    Thanks

    This was a dumb question…

Just add the custom functions to a functions.php file inside your theme directory. WordPress automatically includes this file.
