2.8, anyone noticed a difference in speed?

    Hi
    I was just wondering if 2.8 was significantly faster than 2.7.1 ?

    I read somewhere that the dev team hoped it was but wondered if anyone who has taken the plunge and updated can confirm if there’s any noticeable difference or not? Or even any specs as to ‘how much’ faster it is?
