Unable to save league preferences

    I am trying to set up a hockey league, and when I try and change settings on the Preferences screen for a league, i hit Save, it says Settings Saved but the setting does not change. This happened for multiple fields, but the one I am trying to change is the Default Start Time.

    Here is the error that shows up in the error.log when I attempt to save:

    Undefined property: stdClass::$upload_dir in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/leaguemanager/admin/settings.php on line 173

    On an unrelated note (just posting to try and be helpful), when I bring up the plugin settings screen, the following errors appear in the log:

    Undefined index: relegation in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/leaguemanager/admin/settings-global.php on line 50
    and
    Undefined index: boxheader in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/leaguemanager/admin/settings-global.php on line 55

    again, this is unrelated, but may be helpful.

    Using plug in version 4.1.1 on wordpress 4.4.2 and PHP 5.5.33.
