Media Editor Does Not Work in 2.8

    I can’t upload media now that I have upgraded from 2.7.1 to 2.8. I have deleted and reinstalled the wp-admin and wp-includes folders. I have cleared my cache and browser histories. Still doesn’t work. Please help.

    If you’re using Firefox and have Google Gears installed, deactivate/delete this add-on. It’s not compatible with Firefox 3 and can cause problems in WordPress.

    Also, Try deactivating all plugins and check to see if this resolves the problem.
