exclude from search results

LOVE this plugin – thanks! this is likely a very basic question, but i’ve customized the plugin to not show up on the blogroll or excerpt pages, but i’m trying to figure out how to exclude it from search results?

i’m editing this line, but for some reason am not successful at trying to eliminate it from search result pages:

if( !is_page( ) && !is_home( ) && file_exists( $fileName )){
