• I was trying to verify my settings to make sure things were working and checked the Enable Debug Mode option and save the settings (double checked that they were saved before proceeding). I then sent a test email to a group and it actually sent to everybody in the group.

I am running WP 4.4.2 and the plugin version 4.8.1.

Even with the little issue, this plugin has really saved me time by not having to try to write something like this myself for a new customer. Great Work!

Do you have any other plugins which hook into wp_mail()? That could do it. Did you still see the dump of debug information on the Dashboard even though the mail was sent?

I did get the debug information on screen which provided me everything I needed.

I did a quick search on other plugins and didn’t see any other wp_mail() hooks. I am going to switch over to a test server and create a test group with just a couple of my email addresses in it. I will let you know if I can recreate it afterwords.

Were you every able to replicate this problem? I am getting ready to do a release and if there is an issue, I’d like to resolve it before I do.

Yes, just tested it on a local site and the problem still exists. If the repo is on GitHub, I am happy to look at it for you.

Repo is only in the WordPress Subversion repository. Is there a reason you need it in Git to look into it? If you can find the problem and send a Subversion patch I would be happy to incorporate it.

Moving to Git is on the “to-do” list but it isn’t something I expect to do anytime soon – one of those “if it isn’t broken, don’t break it” type situations. There always seems to be other things which take priority.

Nope, no reason. Just didn’t want to do anything if you were hosting the code somewhere else.

Either way, to answer your original question. I am still having the problem. Turn on debug and the emails are still sent.

Have you tried disabling other plugins to see of the problem stops happening? I am suspecting a plugin conflict as I am unable to replicate the problem.
