    WordPress Version: 4.4.2
    Domain: HoneyTrek.com

    Description:
-AMP plugin was installed one month ago. Haven’t touched the plugin since.
    – Site was fine this morning, then 20 mins ago the site went down out of no-where and this error started firing multiple times.

[24-Mar-2016 12:35:20 UTC] PHP Warning: fopen(http://i2.wp.com/www.honeytrek.com/wp-content/uploads/HoneyTrek.com-Santa-Barbara-Town.jpg?resize=584%2C467): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 504 Gateway Timeout
     in /wp-content/plugins/amp/includes/lib/class-fastimage.php on line 31

Thanks for any insights if this is a bug, or something i did wrong on my end. Also, kind of scared this can take my entire site down.

looks like your site could not connect via fopen to wp.com — possibly you’re using something from the wordpress/jetpack system to resize/optimize your images, and it times out.

Might need to try disabling Jetpack ?

Could be wrong. just a guess.
