The path can be setup in BackWPwp > Settings > Tab: Log. The is for logfiles of a Backup Job. You can try to create it with a FTP Client and set the Folder Permissions so the PHP can write to it.

    Thank-you Daniel,
“You can try to create it with a FTP Client and set the Folder Permissions so the PHP can write to it.”

I have no idea what this means so I have no idea what to do.

When I first installed this program, it automatically created a path.
How do I get it to do this again please?

    Thanks

Crate the folder “wp-content/uploads/backwpup-2ec94-logs” With a FTP client.
Than set the folder permission to 777 with the ftp cleint. Or ask you hoster how to set the permissions corectly.

From the WP dashboard go to backWPup > Settings > Logs.

Delete what it says under Log File Folder.

    Manually run a backup.

It should recreate the log folder with the correct path.

If that doesn’t do the trick, then yeah, you have to reset your permissions for the uploads folder using FTP. And that’s where you’ll have to do more research to figure out as it’s a file folder permissions issue, and not a WP backWPup issue.
