Foogallery and Yoast SEO

    Hi

    I am currently using Yoast SEO and Foogallery and would like to know if there is a way to add support to add Yoast meta title and description to Foogallery/Albums

    I want to try and rank on Google serps for specific galleries however Yoast SEO does not appear at the bottom of each gallery/album where I can add the meta description. I understand that Foogallery and Albums are custom post types so it would be aasy to implement ?

    Hi Colin,

    Adding the Yoast metaboxes to the gallery or album post types would not work for you, as the metadata is pulled from the Yoast metabox at the page level.

    Also, the ability to have multiple galleries on a single page makes it more difficult.

    I do not think this is a feature that will be added, as it would not work as you are expecting.
