    Hello,

I just tested the form on your website and received a warning message “Please fill in the required fields.”. Can you please check your list to make sure that there are no required fields in your MailChimp list other than “Email Address” field?

    Harish,

There was a required field that I removed, thanks for pointing that out. Now there’s only one field required for the form (email address). I renewed my lists in the WP for Mailchimp plugin, refreshed the page, then attempted to submit the form again and still nothing.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hello @ blazit,

Can you please check your website and see if it’s working. I was unable to check it. I keep getting “The http://www.blazit.com page isn’t working” error in Chrome.

In future, I would kindly request you to create a new support request as this ensures the original post creator does not get unnecessary email notifications and it makes us handle your requests much better.

Hi Harish. Thanks for getting back. The site is working fine, no problems on my end with Chrome. I have a simple problem. The newsl-signup widget that came with this template is in my footer and does not integrate when emails are added to it.

The emails are not getting added to mailchimp. I believe I have it set up correctly with APIs and List ID. Am I suppposed to be using the older widget newsl-signup widget for the footer or is there another form that the your newer yourmmailchip for wordpress widget has that I can put in the footer that looks exactly like the newsl-signup widget that will work.

    Hello @blazit,

I am still not able to access your website so I tried using proxy browsing service http://hideme.be/browse.php/n0iABT0N7vNPcqrMpxj86ime/b13/fnorefer/ and it works. Do you have some firewall to block traffic from India?

Currently, you are using our old plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/newsletter-sign-up/. Please deactivate this plugin and instead use our new plugin “MailChimp for WordPress” and the widget provided by it.

I am not involved in server related issues.

I deactivate the older plugin but how do I get a working newsl-signup box in my footer, If I do not use your older widget.

The older widget is prefect in color and form. How do I get the a simple email sign up box in my footer. That matches the color of my website?

I do not wat a complelex form at this point, ust a simple box to fill in email. DOes you new new widget support this?

    (@hchouhan)

    Hello @ blazit,

The new plugin comes with its own widget. The fields that will appear will depend on the form you have set up.

You should find a menu “MailChimp for WP” in your WordPress backend. Click on it and then add your MailChimp API. To edit the form go to “MailChimp for WP > Forms”. Here you would be able to select a list where the details would be added and other settings. Once the form is setup, go to “Appearance > Widgets” and add our widget to any of your widget area such as footer.

There are few preset styling options provided which you can try out and see how it appears.

    Hey blazit,

I’m glad the issue is resolved.

PS. Should you have a quick minute to spare, a plugin review here on WordPress.org would make us quite happy. 🙂
