File permission changed after duplicting to new location

    Hi,

    I have used the plugin to move my website from one location to another.
    But now i cannot upload anything. Change theme settings using FTP.

    All file permission are different. When i look at the folders and files i am able to change, it says flcdmpe (0755).

    But the files i am not able to change it says fle (0755).

    Also i see that the owner/group is changed from what it normally would be to 48 48.

    Why am i not able to upload or change anything anymore? I cant even delete everything and try it again…

    Just had a similar issue and lost the the user. Had to ssh and change the back to the correct user using this :

    chown -R [USER]:[USER] /home/[USER]/public_html

    Hi Justin,

    Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately my knowledge of FTP and SSH is very limited. Could you explain what I need to do, or point me to some tutorial?
