Search doesn’t work after upgrading to 2.8!!

    Hello there,

    I updated my wordpress automatically via the wordpress admin interface. Everything seemed to be working well, but now the search simply does not work – it never finds anything (no results). I dont know where to look at and what the problem is. I use Search Everything plugin and I updated it. I use WP-Bats theme (http://www.myokyawhtun.com/themes-templates/wp-bats-theme.html)

    Can someone help please? If this cannot be fixed, ill have to switch back to 2.7.1 🙁

    Same here, but I have a much bigger problem.

    When I log into my admin it’ also is completely blank?

    I fixed my blank admin screen problem: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/278556?replies=8#post-1098359

    But still no search with Search Unleashed, all it does is goto a blank page, and re indexing it does not fix.

    However regular search works through my search page and regular search widget works too.

    Just use that until there are upgrades for advanced search plug-ins.

    HEY MAN THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!! Finally, someone helped me.

    Appearently, Search Everything plugin DOES NOT WORK WITH 2.8 and therefore kills your search. Now when I deactivated the damn thing, everything works well. And I did not know about this plugin – Search Unleashed. Someday I’ll give it a try 🙂

    I’ve tried search everything and search unleashed , but I can’t get WP to display any search results even if I’m using default search 🙁
