Apply Russian translation

Hello there.

I found that there is Russian translation for this plugin. I would like to apply it. Could you please tell me how i can do this? i tried to download *.mo file and install it into /wp-content or into /wp-content/plugins/comment-mail/includes/translations but this does not work.
