It uses the user agent that the browser sends to do a string match. You can enter things to match off of into the text area on the settings page in the admin. Each line that you enter into the text area is used to do a match when the page is loaded. So if you wanted to target all browsers that identify as running on an iphone for instance you could just enter iphone. Not all browsers will identify this way just because they are running on an iPhone. But some do. There is a default set of strings that should identify most mobile browsers. But you have the option to add or remove from the list.
Hi Jeff,
Thank you. But honestly, I have to admit that I’m not entirely understood. I am currently disabled this option (mobile mode) in the Plugin Organizer. I use WP Super Cache plugin and I guess that’s in this case, a better solution to turn off mobile mode. Because I can not have two types of interaction with the a browser. Everything is cached. Am I right?
When I look at my responsive page in the browser, it looks good. But, correct me if I’m wrong. Perhaps can all be a lot better, but I do not know how. Thanks in advance.
Regards
