• Oh yes… i have read several discussions here and your post.
but i still have a weird problem. first of all: i updated WP and all plugins to latest version.
i installed polylang by network installing it to all sites. everything is fine. but some sites have problems displaying the selected static front page even if there exists translations. but not every subsite has this problem.
to “solve” this, i had to check/uncheck the “redirect_lang” checkbox. so some subsites has this checked and some not. does this make any sense?! i don’t know what to do now. any suggestions?!

    Hi
Are these problematics sites are some common points: the same theme, the same activated plugins …?

Yes. They all share the same (custom child-)theme and same plugins. They all have problem finding the static front page which leads to the 404 error page. Ive noticed they find the page, when (un)ticking the checkbox. I now activated it site by site (which is anoying when you have a lot of subsites) and set the same options in each site. this works for now. but for the future i would to love to see a reliable network activation. i even would pay or donate for this to happen. because your work should be appreciated!!
