Was editing through the customize-theme fuction and ended up with two side by side marks in the the upper left corner of my published blog. The characters do not appear in any entry field, and I have reinstalled all plug-ins looking for some error. Any ideas?

Thank you for the link. Did you modify some of the source files (like “header.php”)? If you deactivate all installed plugins, are the characters still visible? If so, I recommend you to reset the theme customizations made via the Customizer using the Customizer Reset plugin.

Hi, did try the customizer reset but nothing changed at all, making me think it is not compatible.

    Hi,

if you deactivate ALL installed plugins, do the characters still appear there?

I had deactivated them all before but everything just crashed and I had to call the host. So, I just went one by one through them all and solved it. I had a plugin called Front Page Title Meta Description which was causing it.

Thanks for your suggestions and time.
