I need to change the background colour of the footer/copyright area using Tiny Framework Child and after looking at all the obvious parts in the style.css I can’t see any way to do it

Open style.css of main theme and look at these sections:

9.3 – Footer widget styles

12.0 – Footer

Also look for the related styles in media queries (Sections 15.x)

I have tried changing all the relevant colors in those areas without any affect
Is it worth adding a separate command and, id so, can you advise the syntax

The site I am developing for my better half isn’t on line as yet but this site is and the footer is subtly different in color (I just noticed it) so fixing it there will let me sort the new one as it uses the majority of the same code http://www.dorset-ramblers.org.uk/

This color is the shadow. You can set:
```
.site-footer {
background-image: none;
background: #your-color;
}
```
