That’s a problem with WordPress. Usually resintalling the plugin helps, few more people had a problem with saving settings.

I tried deleting it and reinstalling it. Still the same problem saving settings on changing the multi template. I’m running this locally on XAMPP. I’ll try it again on a live site and if that makes a difference.

I have the same problem and reinstalling didn’t work. I just copied the data from the elements field in the table gdsr_templates in the database from my custom template to the Default Multi Rating Block entry.
Of course I do not recommend this. Mess with this at your own risk.
Template in the database is serialized, and not usable in that form directly. That’s why there is an interface for working with templates.
As for the problems, I can’t guarantee that it will work in absolutely in every enviroment, since server settings can be very, very different. Plugin doesn’t require anything special to work, but still, I have see servers set so strange that I couldn’ explain the problem. I am confident that in 99.5% of the cases plugin works without any problem.
I understand. There are always servers that have some funky setting. I just swapped data in the elements field in the table gdsr_templates (I am not at home so I can’t remember). Works fine. I know what you are saying though. I wish I could figure that out and do it right but I only got 24 hours in a day and it’s just a small site.
Anyways the rating system is very nice and it is very appreciated by many of us out there. Thanks.
