BackWp running frequently since last update

Since the last update of BackWpUp on February 27, 2016, my jobs have been running frequently on my system in an unscheduled manner.

I have two jobs, one a daily DB backup job and one a weekly file backup job. The former is supposed to run once daily at 2 AM, and the latter once weekly at 2.30 AM.

But since the last update, both these jobs have been running once every 2 hours or so. This is despite the jobs completing successfully each time – there is no timeout or permissions or scheduling issue or any such thing.

What could be causing this?
