Given that the AMP documents state:
Script tag = Prohibited unless the type is application/ld+json. (Other non-executable values may be added as needed.) Exception is the mandatory script tag to load the AMP runtime and the script tags to load extended components.
I think there won’t be any gallery plugin for AMP. From what I understand the idea behind AMP is to make pages load as fast as possible with as little ‘extras’ as possible.
The built-in gallery shortcode does work but it’s not that great right now.
This is a major problem for any wordpress site that has a gallery on any page as there will be errors and also a poor user experience…
Have read elsewhere “You can override the template completely or tweak it’s contents without adding another plugin”
But how exactly can that be done?
ie.. how to exclude something form being on AMP urls?
