Backup Issue: Backups occuring constantly throughout the day ( zip issue)

    Hi there

    I have been wondering why my server has constantly been running out of space. It turns out that it’s iThemes Security backup function that is backing up and creating 200+ files per day.

    Furthermore, it doesnt seem to be creating the zip files correctly.

    I have two sites and both are configured exactly the same when it comes to iThemes security backup.

    Here is the site with no backup issues:

    I have more than 200 files on the 24th of Feb alone! Plus why is the raw SQL file there and the zip file is 0KB?

    You may find some answers to your questions in this topic.

    There is one thing that has changed in the iTSec plugin since that topic was created. According to the 5.2.0 changelog:

    Enhancement: Updated the Database Backup feature to attempt a max memory limit of 256M rather than 128M as some users experience out of memory issues which could be fixed with the higher memory limit.
