Is keyword replacement case sensitive

    If the Auto Affiliate link keyword is: amazon
    and the content text is Amazon or AmaZon or other combination of upper and lower case the link replacement text is alway as per the keyword text, i.e., the content text is always inheriting the keyword text case.
    Is this behaviour correct?

    Surely the case of content text should not change.

    Using:
    Autoaffiliate links Version 5.1.6.4
    WordPress Version 4.4.2
