    can you share a link to the page you are testing?
    we are very interested in barrier free accessibility, and a surprised to hear your screen reader is not reading out the title tag at the very least.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I decided to include custom code using http://a11y.nicolas-hoffmann.net/hide-show/ as it uses <button> tags which toggle open and close. If JS is disabled, all content is shown.

    The test page that I originally had is just typical output from using the plugin. With NVDA (http://www.nvaccess.org/download/) and Firefox, tabbing through, I get the collapsible heading read out but the screenreader just reads it, without indicating that it is selectable/expandable/collapsible.

    On another note, here is some reference regarding “title” attributes. They cannot be depended upon as it depends on screenreader settings:
