    Hi,

I’m using Custom Post Types UI and your plugin, but can’t seem to get your plugin to work with my custom post types that I’ve made. Do you have any suggestions?

I’m able to get regular posts and pages to load with the shortcodes, which indicates to me that something is not set right with the Custom Post Type UI for them to function appropriately.

When I look at content structure, no pages are showing up for my custom post types, even though I have some entered. So I’m guessing that’s the issue, but not sure which thread to put this on.

    I am also using Headway.

    Thank you!

It sounds like the post type is not “public” – you can change the post type’s settings in Custom Post Type UI.

    Thanks.

I figured out that it’s when the post in that custom post type is set to private that is causing the problem. So the custom post type was set to public overall, but when I put specific posts set to private they will not show. Even when I am logged in as different users who should have access to private pages.

Just FYI. Thank you for the response.

You can try the following, to include private posts:

    [loop type=custom_post status=publish,private]

To be honest, I have not tested this thoroughly, so I’m curious to hear how that works for you. For example, does it correctly show private posts only to those users who should have access?
