• Hi I’m looking for a plugin which will allow users to register for a
service I provide (Not access to WordPress)

Users would complete a simple form including the following fields:
    email address
    telephone number

Clicking OK either creates a record or returns the record already created.

If creating a record the email address and telephone number are stored and a random unique 5 digit pin. (I could use a mysql trigger to create the pin if the feature is not available)

A new record is then displayed, the pin and user instructions

If a record already exists the stored pin and user instructions are displayed after attempting to register

I think this plugin is almost fits my needs but I think I am missing the feature which is able to either create a new record or return an existing record.

Can this plugin do what I’m looking for? Would be great if it did.

    Thanks

Hey Abase experts. Got any thoughts on my post?

    Thanks

Apparently this plugin does not have a critical mass of users. Very low activity level on these questions. Most get asked and never see a reply.

I wish the author would stop by and answer a few questions.

Anyway, I am working on a similar problem. If I get it sorted, I’ll post my results.

I am missing the feature which is able to either create a new record or return an existing record.

It does both… it’s not easy to follow the documentation but those options are supported.

Do we have any examples of entry forms which return records you could share?

I can’t see this in the documentation.

    Thanks
