I set up some forms, and set them to private, so a client could see what they looked like, while logged in. I assured her nobody else could see the forms, since they were only privately published. To my surprise, I just discovered, while not logged in on two different devices, the forms are displaying!!!

Figuring I human errored it, by not remembering to make one of the forms private, I went to “fix” my supposed mistake. Guess what. I did not make the mistake. they were both set to private, like I originally thought, so why were they publicly displaying on posts?!?!? Please fix this bug right away.

To workaround this, I just changed them to drafts, saved/updated them both, and refreshed the posts, and cleared the browser cache, and guess what. They still displayed!!! I’ve had to just manually go in and disable the box from each individual post! This is unacceptable. Please fix this.

    Thanks.

    hi @ebhead,

have you tested using one of the “default” wp themes? I just tested with the Twenty Fifteen and Twenty Sixteen theme. Both do not show anything (including the form) if the page/post is set to private and the user is not logged in.

looks like it’s a theme issue..
