Brand new WordPress installation on Hostgator. WordPress and Llorix theme is up to date.

    1. I am seeing PHP warning errors on the main Intergeo pop-up window…

Warning: include_once(/home1/*****/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/intergeo-maps/templates/iframe/extra.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home1/*****/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/intergeo-maps/templates/iframe/form.php on line 32

Warning: include_once(): Failed opening ‘/home1/*****/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/intergeo-maps/templates/iframe/extra.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/opt/php55/lib/php’) in /home1/*****/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/intergeo-maps/templates/iframe/form.php on line 32

    2. The word “address” is misspelled in the “Go to addrses” button.

    3. Nothing shows up when I try to create a marker.

    4. Nothing shows up then I try to include directions.

I’m sure there are more issues, but can’t waste any more time with this. Thanks for trying but I’ll have to delete this plugin and move on.

What are you talking about?? How can a plugin be a third party to itself?

I posted this question in the “WordPress Google Maps Plugin” SUPPORT forum and this bug report is only about your “WordPress Google Maps Plugin”.

    Hello,

    Sorry for last reply.
Please make sure you are using latest version of theme/plugin.

    Thank You for your patience.

As stated in my original posting, I was already using the latest version of WordPress, my theme, and your plugin. (PHP is version 5.6)

This was merely an attempt to be a good net citizen by reporting my observations to you and the community. However, as you originally suggested, I deleted it and switched to a better plugin. Thanks.

    With: Version 1.0.2

Warning: include_once(/home/mysite/public_html/amde/wp-content/plugins/intergeo-maps/templates/iframe/extra.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mysite/public_html/amde/wp-content/plugins/intergeo-maps/templates/iframe/form.php on line 32

Yeah, this plugin is broken. I suggest to others to use a better one. @sparky672, which one did you end up using?

    Yeah, this plugin is broken.

It’s an embarrassing mess, as is their “support” in this forum. First they don’t even recognize my OP is about their plugin. Then second, they tell me to use the latest version of the plugin. (Since it was installed from the repository, of course it’s the latest.) One would expect some appreciation of my effort to report these bugs.

@sparky672, which one did you end up using?

I’m using the free Flexible Map by WebAware plugin.

Some may think it’s not easy to use because there’s no admin interface, just a shortcode you must manually construct as per these directions. HOWEVER, it allows you to use just about every single Google Maps option including the ability to have your own Map Theme (Styled Maps) without having to purchase an upgrade. For creating a custom Map Theme from scratch, you’d insert it as a WordPress plugin as per these directions, which was pretty simple to do. The best part, it just works.

    Hello @sparky672 & @broskiifx,

We apologize for the inconvenience. This issue is logged to our Dev team. It will be resolved soon and included with the next update.

    Regards
    Gourav.
